Published by Pixelfreak May 25th, 2006.Only 25 percent to 50 percent of homes with HD-compatible sets [are] subscribing to a high def package, programming remains limited, and half of all HDTV owners do not use the HD capabilities of their tvs, and nearly a quarter thought they were watching HD video when they actually hadn\’t set it up correctly.

I still use a VCR because Tivo/HDR’s are too damned expensive. Not because I’m ignorant about their existance. I can’t afford the extra 10 dollars a month. I feel like I’m paying a monthly fee on every piece of hardware I own. It’s absolutely insane. I went to college and got a job so I could feel like a second class citizen due to fees and inflated prices? Great. I can barely afford to eat sometimes.
